My Journal
What is your favorite matcha latte in Vancouver?
November 2023
As many of you may know, I am a fanatic when it comes to all things matcha. Many people have been asking for my opinion on the best places to try matcha - I used to have a word document on my phone years ago that I updated, but it was not organized and hard to navigate and refer to. With the launch of this website, I thought it would be an easy way for me to share an updated list with a refreshed look.
I'm happy to share this page with all of you, and hope that you can use it to find the best matcha lattes across the Lower Mainland. At the time of writing this article, my top 3 are as follows: (1) Paragon Tea Room, (2) Yama Cafe, and (3) Whisk Matcha. I also include my recently-tried lattes, my overall matcha rankings, as well as my previous rankings from my old spreadsheet on my phone. I've also included a map that you can add to your own Google Maps that gives you quick reviews and easy navigation to the best matcha lattes near you.
What are your favorite matcha lattes? Do you agree with my list? Also if you're ever interested in joining me for a cafe n' work day, let me know!

Goal setting for the remainder of 2023
September 2023
As the fall season rolls around the corner and students go back to school and pumpkin spice lattes are in full bloom, I'm sure many of us are asking ourselves something along the lines of: "What do I want to accomplish before the end of the year?".
Personally, goal setting keeps me focused and motivated to do a variety of tasks and projects, although the act of developing goals and sticking to them has been proven to be a continuous challenge. Throughout the summer, I've been jotting down some goals in my own journal and keeping track of them over time - breaking some of my bigger goals into smaller and more feasible tasks to make it more measurable to track my progress. I also appreciate sharing my goals with others, with the intention of being able to articulate to others what I am trying to achieve, as well as to hold myself accountable to my words and put it in action.
Do you have any goals you're working on for the remainder of 2023? Do you have any techniques that you apply to hold yourself accountable to those goals? I'd love to hear your thoughts and share experiences that will help everyone develop their own process that is purposeful and meaningful for their own personal growth.
As a foodie in Vancouver, I love eating out and trying all the new restaurants in the city! Because of how often I go, I wanted to look for a credit card that gives me the best cash-back for my eating-out habits.
I stumbled upon the Simplii Financial Cash Back Visa Card, which not only has the best cash-back (up to 4%), but all has no annual fee - it's literally my go-to card for any and all food purchases when I'm going to eat out! I would definitely recommend any foodie friends who are looking for a good credit card to keep in their quiver to check out the Simplii Financial Credit Card.
I also recommend pairing it with their No Fee Chequing Account and/or High Interest Savings Account to maximize the benefits alongside your credit card. Use my link below to get a bonus when you sign up!
